Looking up at this from I-84, it kind of looks like a flying saucer, especially at night when it looks like a UFO perched on the hillside, hence the name of the cache. In fact, I thought this was a UFO and would call it E.T.'s flying saucer until I was about 14. Then one day someone brought me up here and ruined the mysticism.

I thought about calling this cache by the name I always heard it referred to growing up, but as someone recently informed me, it didn't actually cost that much and I'm pretty sure Groundspeak wouldn't let me call it that... Besides, the volunteers at the Vista House were so gracious as to grant me permission to place this cache. Thank you Friends of the Vista House!
