Geocache Description:

This cache is a short walk from the nearest parking lot about .25 miles from the cache.

Bring a writing implement to sign the log and replace the cache exactly as you found it.

This cache is a short distance from the historcal marker of the Keka'a Landing Pier which is one of 20 sites along the Kaanapali Historical trail. The pier once stretched far into the ocean. It operated for many years as the primary loading spot for shipping out processed sugar from the island and bringing in supplies for the plantation camps. Railroad tracks led from the sugar cane fields to the beach and warehouses for storage were errected nearby. All that remains is an asphalt jetty. Take a few moment to look at the remains of this historical place.
