Geocache Description:


"On Elkhorn S" is a series of caches highlighting bridges over South Elkhorn Creek. This creek is historically significant to the founding and history of Lexington and Frankfort, which mark its source and destination. South Elkhorn Creek is canoeable from as high as Clays Mill Rd (N37 59.234 W084 33.783) after rains. There are many mild rapids and a few small dams. The cache names are numbered by river miles from source. There is room to walk behind the guardrail for added safety.
