This is a quick find in an interesting location on the blue trail. And, an inducement to use the blue trail to head up to the caches on top.
I was hiking up the blue trail for some of the new caches in the park when I saw an interesting piece of equipment in the woods.
There are lots of gauges, wires and pipes around this abandoned and rusting machine. Maybe it was there to pump water to the snow blowing equipment on the ski slope. Who knows?
Now it is the home for a MKH which is about 2 feet off the ground and plainy visible from the right angle.
