Geocache Description:

Mardi Gras is the celebration of excess indulgence before Lent culminating on Shrove Tuesday. It is known for the crazy things people will do for trinkets and those colorful shiny beads! What would you do for a Mardi Gras Trinket? You do not have to actually do it, just tell me in your log. Please maintain some inhibitions with what you write!
I think we should celebrate Mardi Gras all year long with excess indulgence in geocaching!!

This is a park and grab and no it is not a micro. The cache is a 9 inch lock-n-lock packed with trinkets so some stealth may be required. It is located on the Christopher Brook Preserve (property of Middlesex Land Trust). There is not much room to park but the street is not busy and you should not be there very long. There are some nice little bridges over the water if you want to take a very short walk on a path located about 140 feet East of the sign.

While in town, please check out the other 2 local caches:

GC1YXXZ The East Hampton Public Library

Congratulations to Dale and Jessie on FTF!!
