This cache has been archived.

offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my gmail address. Don't forget to include the GC code for the cache.

Geocache Description:

Congrats to BrownBandits for FTF

This is the third in my "Space" themed cache series. This cache has a log book, pen, and has enough room for a few small travel bugs. You will be looking for a camouflaged Rubbermaid container. I had full reception on my GPSr today, but if you do have better coordinates, please let me know.

The cache is in the woods behind Germanna Community College. For parking, drive right up to the main building, then turn right. The road bends to your left, which you will go. Park near the back right of the parking lot. Sometimes that entire parking lot will be full, and you may have to park in front of the main building. Be careful of students crossing the streets. If you park in the Germanna parking lot, you can only do so between 6 AM -- 11 PM. From 11 PM -- 6 AM the lot is closed.

A Red Giant is type of star that is several times larger than a main sequence star, like the Sun. In this particular cache I mentioned the star Betelgeuse, which is a Red Supergiant. Betelgeuse is about 640 light years away from Earth, and is so large, if it were in the place of the Sun, it would be larger than the orbit of Mars. That means Mars, Earth, Venus and Mercury would be engulfed by the star.

Other caches in this series: The Big Bang (GC23E0N) and A Black Hole (GC23J54)
