Traditional micro hidden and accessible from the bridge and adjacent to the Berne Street Bike Route which has one terminus at Grant Park and the other at Atlanta City Limits on Bouldercrest Drive. You'll have a nice view of some of downtown and if you look down on either side of the bridge you'll have a not so pleasant view of either a cement factory or a junkyard. (Over time, the closure of the cement factory and unkept weeds have obscured the skyline view) Just beyond the cement factory you will see the newly refurbished Maynard Jackson High School (with new features such as a roof top community farm and garden, renovated auditorium, new softball field, and new classroom corridors) as well as tons of new development at Glenwood Ave. and Bill Kennedy Way. If you are of average height and can jump straight up a decent amount, your head will clear the 1000' elevation mark (factoid for you: Atlanta has the highest altitude of any major city east of the Mississippi) *********You DO NOT need to leave the bridge to access this cache*********** Stay on the public street. And have fun!
