Prior to moving to San Francisco, I came to this location every
time I visited. It is my favorite overlook of the city,
particularly at night. I recently noticed that a cache was not in
this area, and I figured that the only way to show it to more
people is by placing a cache here. People who live in the city have
probably driven down this road numerous times. This cache forces
you to stop and get out of your vehicle, and enjoy the view. A
virtual, "stop and smell the roses," if you will. The cache itself
is a log only cache. When retrieving the cache, please keep your
feet on the cement. The guard railing is there for a reason, so do
not climb on it or over it. This is a very easy grab from the
sidewalk. Please remember to put it back the same way you found it,
because there are times that this area is highly populated. I hope
that you enjoy the view.
I would like to dedicate this cache to the following geocachers
who helped Olivia and I reach all of our "Year One" goals:
airsax helped us from falling off a cliff.
jara8055 helped with someone else's cache when the cache
page was incorrect and the coordinates were over 200 feet off.
j5Crew helped by being spot on when we were way off
spot.
Randy4Fun helped us go east when we thought we needed to
go west.
Robotman helped us with one of our first mystery caches,
and we learned a valuable lesson of "Keep It Simple."
Sierra Hikers helped us by replaced a muggled cache just
in time for Olivia to meet her goal on the final day.
Though we have never met, We could not have done it without
you!
