This cache was hidden as part of the Hide-&-Go VI event. For 6 years now Campbell River has hosted students from Sokcho, South Korea for 2-10 month exchanges. Our family has been fortunate to have hosted 5 students and we have learned to appreciate the wonderful culture that is part of their heritage. This was a way to stay connected with my son who moved to Sokcho in 2000.
This cache has been placed to mark the visit of George as he prepares to return to S. Korea in a few weeks. He has enjoyed learning about geocaching and looks forward to doing more when he returns home.
The cache is a cammoed lock n lock which contains trinkets for trading, a logbook, and a pencil. It is located a few metres off a pathway. The difficulty rating is because it is necessary to navigate through the trees and roots to the cache.
Please rehide the cache well so that it won't be discovered by muggles.
