Mojave TB & Geocoin Rest Area Traditional Geocache
JohnMac56: Sorry everyone but this cache has gone missing too many times and I am getting tired of replacing it. Overall it has bee a good cache with over 600 finds in more than 4 years and many many trackables have moved through this cache. I hope that everyone who had found this cache remembers it fondly, and I hope that someone puts another cache near here soon...

We noticed that there are two rest areas on either side of the freeway on the stretch of Interstate 15 between Los Angeles and Las Vegas but there was not a single rest area for TB's or Geocoins along the whole route. So we decided to place one out here.
You will be looking for a hidden camoflaged large lock n lock hidden right off the freeway at a strange-named exit. The cache is not very far from the closest paved parking and you should be able to almost drive right up to it with just about any vehicle (we placed it in our Toyota Camry). Simple, typical desert hide, you should have no trouble finding this cache.
This is NOT a TB/Geocoin prison, it is a simple rest area for these travelers. There are no restrictions on taking any of the travelers you see in this cache. If you can help them on their journeys, please take as many of them as you can help. Of course, if you have a TB or Geocoin that needs a break, feel free to place it here for someone else to move along.
Please re-hide the cache as good or even better than you found it to prevent it from being muggled... Also, please log any DNF's as soon as possible so that we may check on the cache...
Also, remember that this is the desert and there are many hazards out here, so be careful and always look and listen before you reach into anyplace out here. There are critters and plants here that can cause some serious problems if you are not careful.
