This is a drinking water sample stand. Your drinking water is routinely sampled here to assure water purity.
I saw this item, and had never seen one before. There was no cache nearby, so I thought. . . The cache is not within five feet of the drinking water sample stand, so believe your GPSr when it points you a bit away. Watch for muggles riding their bikes, during nice times of the year. The bike trails have had some big up grades to them, us care when rehiding the cache. With the construction of the bike track done, I moved the cache about 45 feet North.
