An easy cache located in beautiful Mt Work Park in the Greater Victoria area.
There are many times in life that we must persevere. I have noticed during my many hikes around Vancouver Island that there are many examples of extreme perseverance in nature. The NEVER GIVE UP Cache is a tribute to those challenges and for every step we take forward despite adversity.
NEVER GIVE UP Cache is hidden near an amazing example of nature's perserverance. This sight truly inspires me. I ask that you post pictures of instances in nature that you find that relate to the theme of "never giving up". Or leave a story about your own example of continuing forward when life gets tough.
The hike to the summit of Mt Work takes approximately an hour to an hour and a half. It is well worth the trip. It is a significant climb to the top, but the cache is located before the trail starts to incline.
The cache is located a short distance from the parking lot on Munn Rd. For a longer hike, you can hike from the Hartland parking lot.
Cache is located near the trail - NO NEED TO BUSHWACK through this fragile terrain.
NOTE: PLEASE BE GENTLE WITH THE AREA. WE NEED TO RESPECT THE FRAGILE ECOSYSTEM THAT THE CACHE IS LOCATED IN.
