Geocache Description:

Whenever it rained very much, Ebi River brought a flood and gave the great damage to inhabitants along the river in old days.
River improvement construction was performed by a volunteer and cooperation of Funabashi-city to rule this.
The Shimizu-benten image is a monument of the activity.
Please look for cache while strolling in the side of Ebi River.

清水弁天像は、海老川十福神像のひとつです。
昔、海老川は大雨が降るたびに水害をもたらし、川沿いの住民に多大な被害をおよぼしていました。
これを治めるため、ボランティアと船橋市の協力により治水工事が進められました。
清水弁天像は、その活動のモニュメントです。
海老川沿いを散歩しながらcacheを探してみてください。
