相模原沈殿池は、昭和29年に築造された横浜市の管理する上下水道用ダムです。
沈殿池では、88万3000平方メートルの水を貯水することができます。
この貯水量は、横浜市民が１日に使う水の量の約70％に当たります。
「かながわの探鳥地50選」に指定されており、コサギ、カルガモ、カワラヒラなど数十種類の野鳥が集まり、バードウオッチングの人気スポットとなっています。
ペンは入っていないので持参してください。
