Geocache Description:


"Kashima Shrine" is a guardian of the district Kamitsuruma Yaguchi.
Headquarters is located in Ibaraki Prefecture, "Kashima Jingu."
Present shrine was built in 1838 is that year after the Great Kanto Earthquake damage has been repaired.
Main hall in front of "camellia couple" are named as among the good fortune to pass through this camellia.

The cache is micro size container with logbook and pen.

鹿島神社は上鶴間谷口地区（上鶴間北部）の鎮守です。
本社はその名からも想像できるように、茨城県にある鹿島神宮になり、"武甕槌命（たけみかづちのみこと）"を祭神としています。
文禄３年（1594年）、渋谷越後守義重が下森に鹿島大明神を勧請しましたが、享保元年（1801年）に現在地に遷座されました。
現在の社殿は天保９年（1838年）に建立されたようですが、関東大震災により大きな被害を受け、大改修されています。
本殿前にある「夫婦椿」という2本の椿の間を潜り抜けると幸運に恵まれるようです。

キャッシュは、マイクロサイズです。
中にはログブック・ペンが入っています。
