Use the attached media to solve the mystery.
This is a media-based cache that relies on your observation skills to find it. The posted coordinates will bring you to a parking lot within walking distance of the cache.
You must find two cache locations to solve this puzzle cache.
#1 The first location is described using several attached images captured from the perspective of the cache container if it were to peer out from its location. You will need to use these images to figure out where this location is. This intermediate location contains a cache container with the coordinates of the final cache site.
Once you find the intermediate location, please (optionally) upload a picture that further describes what the cache container sees. Be creative but try not to reveal too much. Over time, the number of images available to find the intermediate cache location will increase. This may make it easier to find the cache, but it could also make it harder. We shall see.
#2 Use the coordinates from the intermediate location to find the final cache site. This location has a container and log book. Bring your own pen.
The cache is best done by parking in the lot described and walking. The terrain is not steep in the least and you do NOT need to go down any hills or embankments.
Note: the cache is not in the water treatment plant, so you need not venture in there.
----------------
I'm a university professor that loves geocaching and also studies it. This geocache was placed for your fun and enjoyed. However, as an aside, I'm curious what people think of media-based caches like this one. Once you find it, I'd love it if you could email me at cneustae@sfu.ca and answer these questions:
- what strategy did you use to find the geocache?
- did you hunt for it with family members? if so, what did each family member do to help find it?
- what did you like and dislike about this style of geocache?
Of course, this is optional but it would be much appreciated! Many thanks!
