I continued on in the freezing weather for 3 days North. A few more days and I would reach the pole. The food had three or four days ago. "Frostnip" was developing over my nose, and I was starting to have little vision. I came across the breaks in the ice, three to my left and four to my right, 7 total. The time was four in the morning, not like it made any difference in the amount of sun. Why does my GPSr say it's 8? So further I travelled, and the summer sun moved, ever so slightly towards the West. The closer I got, the worse my wounds hurt. Wounds from digging, wounds from 4 decades ago,when I went to school at six in the morning, and got out at two-twenty. Life was good then, back when I was 6. Back when there was comfort, and the math problems were 2 times itself.
