Geocache Description:

Theme: Aboriginal - If it doesn't come back, it’s not a boomerang.

There are a number of words between the many Aboriginal languages which describe throwing sticks; where some return, some don't. It's a myth that it was Captain James Cook who first recorded anything sensible about the ‘boomerang’. All the early explorers thought that boomerangs were swords and none of them ever saw a boomerang being thrown.

Many of the Aboriginal words in use today are from the Dharug language, including boomerang, waratah, wallaby, dingo, kookaburra and koala.

So why not explore this area for yourself and see what it throws up, you may find yourself returning like a "Barragadan".

Cache Container Downgrade...Upgrade: I've replaced the container with a custom one I had in mind for this site from the beginning. It just took a while to make it. So the coolness factor is upgraded, but it's smaller inside and not air-tight. The cache will now only take very small items - no rubbery, paper, or puffy stuff - it'll simply get stuck.

The cache is not at the GC co-ordinates. To get to the cache you'll need to build this puzzle and solve the problem - a puzzle within a puzzle. Use the puzzle pieces in the gallery as the online puzzle was created using flash which is no longer supported so the site is no use to us here.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

NOTE: We share the forest with other animals, they don't always want to play, so it's best to simply avoid close contact with them.

Simply print out the puzzle in the gallery and build it manually.
