Geocache Description:

A simple cache that is a on a short and pleasant walk through Henford Marsh.

Cache is located near the 'pooh sticks' bridge at the bottom of Henford Marsh on the south side of Warminster. Cache is on the south side of the bridges but not as far as the concrete mounting stool.

Just a few minutes walk through Henford Marsh makes this a nice quick dash cache.

Our very first or première cache! I'm sure it falls into all sorts of clichés for first-timers.

Car park in near by Lower Marsh Road or in the small brook meadows car park. Easy access to both the town park and the cache areas. Cache would make a nice round taking in both
Eastleigh Wood Miaw
! and Near Warminster Travel Bug and Geocoin Hotel caches (neither of which are ours!)

Terrain is easy, hardcore / tarmac lane most of the way, with slightly muddy path near the bridges. Accessible by bike or wheel chair - though wheelchair users would struggle to reach the cache itself.

Cache is a 1.0L plastic lock container. Suitable for TBs and small exchange items. When left Cache contained 1 mini police car, 1 flying Heron, and 1 plastic horse + log book and pen.

***Update:15/04/10 Pen replaced!***
