A Capital Idea Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future (within 60 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

When I realized there were hardly any caches in downtown Lansing I had the capital idea to place one myself! The Cooley Gardens are open year round, dawn to dusk and free. Terrain is a mix of cobblestone and grass, very micro-cacher friendly. Picnicking is encouraged!!

The cache is a large lock and lock container with logbook, pen and lots of starter swag. Please trade up and beware of muggles who will be out in force during certain times of the year.

The hardest part about this cache will be getting there via the one way roads downtown...
Congrats to The Allen Cachers on FTF!

~ Bloom times, as listed in the brochure ~
Mid-March through April: spring bulbs and early flowering shrubs
May: peonies, irises and flowering shrubs
June through August: roses and perennials
September through October: roses, anemones, asters, perennials and 'fall color'

Voted one of the Lansing Area's Top Caches for 2011.
