Ringe Station ligger i Ringe på
Midtfyn.
Stationen er knudepunkt på Svendborgbanen, beliggende omkring midtvejs
mellem Svendborg og Odense. I
dagtimerne kører der tre tog i timen til Odense, og to til
Svendborg.
Da stationen i årene 1897 til 1962 var knudepunkt for tre
jernbanestrækninger, havde den seks hovedspor og tre perroner, samt
Fyns første perrontunnel (1897-1985). Den tredje perron blev
fjernet i 1964-1965, efter banerne til Fåborg og Nyborg et par år
forinden var blevet nedlagt.
Svendborgbanens alvorligste ulykke skete den 7. april 1934, 500 meter syd
for stationen i Ringe. Et forkert signal til toget mod Svendborg,
medførte at det stødte sammen med det nordgående tog, der var
forsinket og endnu ikke ankommet. Ved sammenstødet blev to ansatte
dræbt og mange passagerer kvæstet.
Det nye
spor
Ringe Station har en kapacitet på 5 tog i timen (3 fra Odense og
2 fra Svendborg). Stationen har 3 spor, men bliver under
sporarbejdet i sommeren 2009 udvidet med et fjerde. Under dette
arbejde bliver den i 1965 nedlagte tredje perron hermed
gendannet.
- På spor 1 holder de tog, der skal fra Odense til
Svendborg.
- På spor 2 holder dem, der skal fra Svendborg til Odense.
- Spor 3 ender blindt nordfra, og togene her kører derfor tilbage
til Odense.
- Det nye spor 4 kommer til at ende blindt sydfra.
I 2009 fik Ringe station en ny stationstavle og alle
El-installationer til Perronlys, billetautomater, kamera
overvågning, toilet lys blev ført ud i den nye El-tavle som står
udenfor. I Stationstavlen er der også forbereds for den fremtidige
billetsystem som kommer til at hedde Rejsekort. Dette er gjort for
hvis DSB i fremtiden ønsker at sælge selve stationsbygningen. DSB
skal derfor fremover ikke ind i selve stationen for at tilkoble en
udkoblet automatsikring.

Ringe Station is located in
rings at Midtfyn. The station is a crossroad of
Svendborgbanen, situated about midway between Svendborg and
Odense. The daytime running three
trains per hour to Odense, and two to Svendborg.
Since the station during the
years 1897 to 1962 was the crossroad of three rail lines, had the
six main tracks and three platforms, and Fyn first platform tunnel
(1897-1985). The third platform was removed
in 1964-1965, after the railroad for Faaborg and Nyborg a few years
earlier had been scrapped.
Svendborgbanens most serious
accident occurred on 7 April 1934, 500 meters south of
the station in the Rings. The wrong signal to the train
from Svendborg, led to it collided with the northbound trains were
delayed and not yet arrived. In the clash two employees were
killed and several passengers injured.
The new trail
Ringe Station has a capacity of
5 trains per hour (3 to Odense and 2 from Svendborg).
The station has 3 tracks, but
the track will work in the summer of 2009 expanded by a
fourth. During this work will be in
1965 abandoned the third platform is hereby restored.

* Track 3 blind passages north,
and the trains here are consequently back to New Jersey.

In 2009 got Ringe station a new
station switchboard and all electrical installations Perronlights,
ticket machines, surveillance cameras, toilet lights was put into
the new El-Plate standing outside. The station board is also
prepared for the future of ticketing system which will be called
Rejsekort. This is done because if the DSB
in the future want to sell the station building.
DSB should henceforth not go
into the station to connect a disconnected automatic
fuses.
