Golden Apple Bait Traditional Cache
cat-jam: Was able to get to the area to see the cache is in fact gone. I'm pretty sure I don't blame the cache thief as I used to live around here and muggle kids are always out and about. Decided against placing another container (despite the stockpile I do have in my garage) as this area is neither interesting nor inviting. It was bait for the golden apple but the golden apple has since fallen. I'm sure Sase Mc-T won't mind this cache going into the junk heap. He's been on to many more milestones since 1000. When he finds #5000, then I"ll be placing another one for him (or maybe sooner if the mood strikes!). Thanks to the greater than 100 visitors that were able to log this as a find.

This is a Golden Ammo Can placed in recognition of the Sase Mc-T family of cachers as they have recently surpassed the milestone of 1000 finds. It is also bait for my nearby micro! (idea stolen from Sase Mc-T's Turtle and Turtle Bait)
___________________________________________________
I consider Sase Mc-T to be a geo-friend (yes, that is corny) despite only meeting "a" of Sase Mc-T briefly. I actually didn't realize until recently that Sase was pronounced Sassy, so I still pronounce their name like "says." I have gotten to know them by their characteristic red pen log (which i have been the next to sign in on many occasions), their thoughtful online logs, and their clever and interesting hides (my first and favorite, the now archived Outside the Box). Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all hides, but if you have to have a favorite, theirs are mine. I have also been impressed with the ability of the younger team members to make tough finds (I still haven't found Durand Durand!!)
I wanted to hide this Sase Mc-T style but despite all my ideas I had a hard time executing any of them with an Ammo Can so this is hidden in a fairly traditional fashion.
There is a small lock & lock with a red mini-sharpie and a Lammy for the FTF. The cache starts out with some Handy Manny figures (as I think Sase Mc-T must be a Handy Manny's given their hides), some mini skateboards, and some travel bugs.
Obviously don't park on the highway as there is safe and appropriate parking listed on the cache page!
***Congratulations to "Little S" of Sase Mc-T on the FTF! ***
