A short walk in Greenwood park from any of the multiple entrances to the trail network. Cache is located a short hop off of a well-worn trail. The remnants of a lost giant are within 6 or 7 metres of the cache location.
Greenwood Park is a great place for a forested walk just below Highway No. 1 in the Central Lonsdale area of North Vancouver. We once lived in the area and would stroll the trails of the park regularly. Many trails criss-cross throughout the park and lead to some unexpected finds (large rock bluff of an old quarry, peek-a-boo view over the city, and developed, technical mountain bike routes). The trails have some elevation change but are easily navigated by most walkers.
Once the cache is found it is worth heading uphill to look over the rock bluffs of the Quarry. From there you can head a little further north-west to find a narrow view of the city through the trees.
A small, plastic, locking container contains a log book, pen, and a few fun items chosen by G-man.
