Geocache Description:

The cache that you are looking for is a hide-a-key hidden in a typical location. There is plenty of parking, mud, and a good-sized slope. You may need boots if it has recently rained.

Here, where this cache is located, is where Highway 29 crosses the Tallahala Creek. Oooh! Wow! Big deal, I know. But the road that shoots off of Highway 29 here is called Spurline Road. See, many moons ago there was a rail line that ran from Laurel to Beaumont. This line, the GM&O, has now been abandoned, taken up, and wiped from the map; however, in its heyday, a spur of that line ran from Ellisville to a place called Ellisville Junction (now called Lanham). Here is where the line ran east out of Ellisville and crossed over the creek before heading east toward Ellisville Jct. Spurline Road actually follows the old bed of the rail line.
