Coal was originally discovered near this area back in 1888.
It is beleived this residence was lived in by some of the original mine managers.
The mine is still operating, supplying coal to the Pt. Augusta power station.
If you look to the east you will see some old 'overburden dumps' and maybe black dust from the current mining operations.
Take a dirt track off the main road. This will take you to the GZ, or you may prefer to walk.
No fences need to be crossed!
