Fairly steep walk up the hill to the water tower, but after that it is nice and flat. Bring the dog for a little exercise and the binoculars to check out the surroundings.
It is possible to park at the bottom of the water tower and then walk up the path and through the gates fence. Then it is rough terrain but flat walk. Or if you are up for the challenge bush bash from the other side. Many people seem to take this option either way is fun.
