The cache is located in a lovely little wood on the south side of Ware. During the Spring some areas of the wood are carpeted in beautiful blue bells.
The co-ordinates were taken in January 2010 with no leaf cover when accuracy was +/- 8m. I’m not sure how accurate the reading will be in summer with leaves on the trees.
Adjacent to the woods are some playing fields with several football pitches which are regularly used by various local teams at weekends.
Note that the wood is a popular area for dog walkers so beware of Muggles.
If journeying by car I suggest you park at the car park at the bottom of Walnut Tree walk – co-ordinates for the car park are N 51deg 47.905, W 000 deg 01.779.
