2nd annual Rock Island CITO in Falcon
Agenda:
8:30 AM Meet at coordinates for coffee and doughnuts
9:00 AM Head out on the trail for the CITO
11:00 AM return to the trail head
11:05 Adult prize drawing will be held (tickets for sale at the event) - Kids prizes will be free
11:30 AM Call it a day and start geocaching
The trail is 9 miles long so groups of cachers will be assigned to different sections. There are a few different parking options along Highway 24 to walk to the different sections.
Long pants, long sleeve shirt, and gloves are recommended. Much of the trash is caught in thick brush near the water areas. Trash bags will be provided and we will place them in designated spots for later pick up.
You must be present for the entire event to qualify for a smiley. If you only show up at the end you will not be allowed to log it.
Any profet from this event will be used to pay for the 10 year event we are hosting. The extra money will be donated to the Colorado caches to fund future events.
In the event of bad weather we will postpone until the next Saturday, April 17th
