Geocache Description:

Located in Moulton Falls County Park. Use upper parking lot and take the trail across the arched bridge. You are looking for a costco nut container containing log book and trinkets.

Take time to enjoy the hikes and the falls in this north county park. There are lots of picnic areas within the park.

HISTORY OF MOULTON FALLS PARK: After the Yacolt Burn of 1902, many sawmills were set up to scavenge the lumber, much like what happened after the St. Helen's eruption in 1980. One of the mills was erected at the falls on the East Fork of the Lewis River by a Mr. Moulton. Moulton Falls Park is on the Lew and Clark Railway and part of the Battle Ground, Yacolt & Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.
