GI Joe: Tactical


This cache is for all you kids (young and old), who let your imagination run wild while playing out backyard war games with the neighborhood kids.

You set out for adventure with your battery powered "Walkie Talkie", a broomstick for an automatic weapon, a tennis ball "grenade", and even a lowly picnic table serving as your bunker. You didn't need expensive paintball gear or complex computer games, you could play out the real live adventure in your mind! Relive your childhood and complete this mission.

Your Mission:

Your Special Operations unit has been summoned by the General. He needs you to take on a dangerous and covert reconnaissance mission deep behind enemy lines. You will be in grave peril and if you are captured by the enemy (or muggles) your return to safety cannot be assured. You will need all of your sharply tuned survival skills to complete this mission and you must be prepared for attack at any time. The traveled path is laced with land mines, and snipers are lurking everywhere. You must not be detected! The enemy has prepared a tremendous squad of low flying fighter pilots (skeeters) that on are alert for your arrival so precautions may be required. Intelligence has developed a special chemical agent to help you in your battle, and if you apply it early enough, potential blood loss and even mission failure may be avoided. You must rendezvous with a lone Commando informant who will provide you with documentation that is vital to our victory. If his cover is compromised the consequences could be dire. Ensure that your informant is not exposed when the rendezvous is complete. Accept the information that he provides you without question and do not let it fall into the hands of the enemy.

YOU MUST NOT FAIL, YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!

Please report the success of your mission in appropriate infantry jargon of course. (Really just a walk in a very large park until the last 15 metres! )
