Scooby-Doo, Where
Are You?
Foul play is suspected in the
disappearance of the aged canine actor, Scooby-Doo, yesterday in
Wissahickon Valley Park. Police authorities say that blood and
tufts of fur belonging to a Great Dane matching the famous actor
were found in the park. According to his nephew, Scrappy-Doo,
Scooby was depressed when Fred Jones and Daphne Blake broke off
their engagement, Velma Dinkley ran off to join the NRLFF and
Shaggy Rogers returned to rehab. "Scooby felt alone, and a dog's
pack is everything!" said Scrappy. Police theorize that Scooby's
depression led to living a hermit's life in the park along with his
treasure of "Scooby-Snacks." No suspects have been named and police
are asking for anyone to come forward who has information on
Scooby-Doo's whereabouts.
Help find Scooby!
This is a four stage multi-cache where you, Detective Cacher,
must interrogate witnesses to discover what happened to Scooby and
his treasure of "Scooby-Snacks." Pay close attention because there
are clues on where the next stage is in their testimonies. Some
hints were also added (decryption key provided). The first three
stages are all located beside a lower path along Wissahickon Creek
within a very unique and picturesque part of the park. Although the
distance between consecutive stages are all under 300 feet, the
final stage is off the beaten path and requires some bushwhacking
and a steep grade (After all, Scooby didn't want to make it easy to
get to his hidden treasure). Once you find the treasure, there is
one last task you must complete. You must find the log and sign it.
You will probably not see it at first, but it is there! Good
luck!
To claim a find, the
log must be found and signed!
