Geocache Description:

This cache has been replaced by Poosu and moved about 15 feet from the original, which grew legs and wandered off. New coordinates are N28 57.281 and W 081 32.186. Thank you Bill for taking the time and effort to get this cache back up. Great Scouting Spirit! The original cache was full of Scout Patches for the finders to enjoy. Please feel free to place Scout Swag in this cache for the benefit of those who follow the Trail.

This ammo box cache is placed near the entrance to Camp LaNoChe in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.

Boy Scout Road is open to regular traffic and the cache is located right off the paved parking area. Please drive carefully and don't trespass into the woods. Should be an easy park and grab. Please place back in it's hiding spot with some cover to keep it from being muggled.

Placed with the permission of Matt Ragan, the Camp Director.

The Boy Scout program in the US began in 1910 and currently is open to boys ages 11-18.
Cub Scouts are available for boys aged 6-10.
Venturing is available for both young men and women, aged 14-20.

If you are interested in receiving more information about Boy Scouts just fill out one of the forms found in the cache and submit it to the Scout Office.

Scouts learn and grow through the experiences of camping, hiking, building projects, and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork. It’s also a lot of fun! The skills learned in Scouting help young men overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout their lives.

Geocaching offers a new opportunity for the Boy Scouts to experience the outdoors while honing their Scouting skills. This cache is placed in honor of all young people in hopes that they will also take this opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for the next 100 years. Please leave appropriate "swag" for young people of all programs.

Congratulations to Charrick for FTF.
