This is a micro sized cache hidden outside of the Sunrise Tennis Club. BYOP.
A new series which provides a tour of the parks in Sunrise. The City of Sunrise offers a variety of venues for sports - and plenty of green spaces for relaxation. This cache is hidden near the Sunrise Tennis Club.
Sunrise Tennis Club is open weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and weekends, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. THE CACHE IS NOT WITHIN THE CLUB. It can be found any time.
Sunrise Tennis Club celebrated its grand opening in February 2001 - earning its place as the premier public tennis facility in South Florida. The Tennis Club offers 10 Hydrocourt clay courts, four asphalt-based cushioned courts, and one Hydrocourt tournament court - as well as lighting, sheltered spectator areas and restrooms. The facility also features a clubhouse with a pro shop, players' lounge and locker rooms.
Sunrise Tennis Club has won numerous accolades, including the United States Tennis Association's (USTA) 2001 "Outstanding Facility" award, and Tennis Industry magazine's 2001 "Court of the Year" award. In 1999, while being built, the Tennis Club was recognized by both the USTA and the United States Tennis Court and Track Builders Association as an example of excellence in the design and construction of a tennis facility.
THE CACHE IS A MICRO HIDDEN OUTSIDE OF THE TENNIS CENTER. Bring your own writing tool. There will be muggles playing tennis nearby, please use your stealth.
CACHERS TAKE HEED! DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE AT ANY CACHE! WHAT MAY BE A QUICK PARK AND GRAB FOR YOU CAN BE AN EVEN QUICKER P&G FOR OTHERS. I know, my van was broken into at a cache in a very nice park and my purse and other valuables were stolen. Hoping my misfortune will make other cachers more aware.
