This cache is placed overlooking one of the highest villages in The Peak District Chelmorton. A stream named illy willy Water runs through the village from nearby Chelmorton Low. Medieval Strip farming has been preserved on the outskirts of the village where large fields were divided into strips and each villager owned a number of these. Strict crop rotation was used to ensure no two fields grew the same crop at the same time.
