Geocache Description:


This is part of a series of 5 caches in the Maker area. The whole series can be done as a nice circular walk.

The area has lots of interesting military history dating back to the times of Napoleon. Driving around the area there are lots of obvious barracks etc but a few are not so obvious and are worth a look at. So we have placed 5 caches to some of them.

Redoubt number 1 is just across the track from this cache. It is a nuclear bunker and it is possible to have a good look follow the little path up from the rope swing.

The cache is hidden just off the track.

0.35 litre lock lid box with small notebook and pencil. There is room for small items.
