Die Staustufe der Gera zwischen Gispersleben und Kühnhausen ist die Letzte vor der Mündung der Gera in die Unstrut. Vor vielen Jahren ermöglichte die Wehranlage die Regulierung des Wasserdurchlaufs. Diese Bedienelemente sind leider der Zeit zum Opfer gefallen.
Die neu erbaute Fischtreppe ermöglicht den Fischen die Überwindung der Staustufe.
Der Cache befinet sich ca. 200 Meter nördlich dieser Anlage. In der Sommerzeit ist das Gelände durch extrem hohe Pflanzen mit 3,5 zu bewerten.

The barrage of Gera (river) between Gispersleben and Kühnhausen is the last before the confluence of Gera in the Unstrut. Many years ago, the barrage made the regulation of the water run possible.
The newly constructed fish stairs allows fish to overcome the barrage.
The cache is about 200 yd north of this facility. In summer the terrain with extremely high plant should be valued at 3.5.
