Geocache Description:


The Captain Cadell Cache pays homage to Captain Francis Cadell, the paddle steamer captain who established the fleet of paddle steamers that opened up Australia’s Murray-Darling river system as a trade route. Cadell’s fleet of paddle steamers carried vital supplies to various Australian explorers such as Burke and Wills and also helped establish trade and supply lines to the then fledging border towns Albury and Wodonga.
Located inside Alexandra Park Reserve this micro cache is hidden using natural camo. Searching this location looks very suspicious from muggles living in nearby houses so stealth is a must.

The best time for a search is early morning or late evening (just before dark)

fingers nails or a pair of tweezers maybe useful for retreaving the log paper from the container.
