ALTHOUGH SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN GREAT CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN AS THIS CACHE IS CLOSE TO THE DISUSED CANAL.
This is the first of three caches we are placing in various locations, in celebration of our three great-grandchildren in the hope that it will encourage them to appreciate their surroundings and to take an interest in geocaching for years to come.
Jack was our first born grandchild born in 2007. The cache has been placed along the Trans Pennine Trail close to where Jack lives. It is hoped that this will encourage him to walk the footpaths in and around the area of his birth.
This cache, along with Baby Boom #3 - Alice Mae, Jack’s baby sister, can be located by entering the Trans Pennine Trail at Notton Bridge. There is parking for a couple of cars at N53°36.852 W001°26.946.
A “Yorkshire Rose 2009 Geocoin - Steven Jack” has been placed in this cache special to him. Hopefully he will enjoy tracking this himself in years to come, competing with his sister Alice Mae and cousin, Olivia-Mae.
The cache is a small clear plastic clip box, suitable for small swaps, coins and travel bugs.
