Walk About *ARCHIVED 2-27-2018* Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Scout Master: I went by due to a DNF and found the cache is, indeed, missing. The final has been renovated and no longer is suitable for a container that would work. Therefore, I am, sadly, Archiving this 8-year old cache. Thanks to all who visited and Walked About!

Geocache Description:

An EASY puzzle cache in one of Greer's nicest parks. Great for Kids to do.

The hardest part may be retrieving and replacing the container without being seen.

The cache is NOT at the above coordinates, but is Very close.

You should park at or near the posted coordinates.
WALK to the Fountain area. All clues can be found at or near that spot.

You will need to answer the simple questions to get A, B, C, D, E and F. Then you must put the answers in the following formula and then input those new coordinates into your GPSr and follow it to the cache.

The Formula: N 34 56 . A B C and W 082 13. D E F

A: Count the NUMBER of LAMPOSTS along the brick wall DIRECTLY BEHIND the arbor where the swings are. (This is where you will find the benches for C) . A=______.

B: Stand between the swings and the fountain, LOOK to your Left and out near the road you will see the Main Entrance to the park where there is an ARCHWAY. WALK past the restrooms towards the MAIN ENTRANCE which has the ARCH over it. How many BENCHES are along this walk (between the restrooms and the arch)? B=_____.

C: How many BENCHES are found DIRECTLY BEHIND the Arbor holding the swings? C=_____.

D: Go to the CENTER FOUNTAIN. On the circular Brick retaining wall surrounding the lower pool you will see several small PLAQUES on top of that wall saying " Welcome to Greer City..."
*NOTE ADDED 6-7-2013: The Placques have gone missing, so the answer for "D" is 4. *****

E: How many SWINGS are under the arbor? E=_____.

F: The same as E. F=_____.

**CHECK SUMS**:*******************************************************************
A + B + C + D + E + F = 28
(A + B + C) x (D + E + F) = 192
**************************************************************************
You can check your answers at GeoChecker.com: (visit link)
