The Sudoku from Ironbark
The Sudoku from Ironbark
While placing this cache I remembered the lines written by The Banjo many years ago about the exploits of a miscreant barber:-
He made the water boiling hot, and dipped the razor in.
He raised his hand, his brow grew black, he paused a while to gloat,
Then slashed the red-hot razor back across his victim’s throat.
Upon the newly shaven skin it made a livid mark.
No doubt it fairly took him in, the man from Ironbark.
You may relish the thought of slashing G.M’s throat while trying to solve the sudoku puzzle, but friends tell me it is not too difficult. I’ve never seen this variation of the puzzle published before, so enjoy!
As usual, the numbers 1 to 9 appear only once in each row and once in each column. Also the numbers 1 to 9 appear only once in each irregular, heavy outlined shape.
In addition, the total of the numbers in each coloured block is shown in the top left corner of the coloured block.
