"Why Torquers'," you ask? What is torque? According to the Free
Dictionary.com, it's "The moment of a force; the measure of a
force's tendency to produce torsion and rotation about an axis,
equal to the vector product of the radius vector from the axis of
rotation to the point of application of the force and the force
vector."
Fortunately, not much of that matters here. This is, in fact, a
long-time local hangout for local cyclists looking to catch some
air. It's dangerous, it's crazy, but it's good, clean kid stuff.
Visit this place on any weekend, after school or holiday and you're
likely to find some riders. It'll be a bummer for all of them when
this last bastion of pure kid-created thrill venue is gone, but for
now, we can enjoy their joy in learning exactly how to torque those
cranks and get some serious air.
