Brookhouse Moss Multi-Cache

A level walk across a couple of fields with three stiles and into a mature broad leaf woodland.

The first stage is a small tube that will reveal the coordinates for the final stage which is a turtle box.

This is an area of SSSI and must be treated with great respect. Great care must be taken not to damage or remove any of the plant life and also care must be taken not to disturb the wildlife.

Thanks goes to Mrs Hollinshead for permission to place these caches and also to Ms Katherine Walsh from Natural England for help with the placing of these caches.

Brookhouse Moss is an outstanding example of a moss at an advanced stage of development. Several area of open bog are present in which bog mosses are growing, please keep well away from the bog areas as the caches do not require you to approach the moss.
