This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It is just a distraction for the weary geocaching traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too.

This is the 3rd location for a Sidetracked – Harpenden cache. Thanks to magicme200 for placing and re-placing the first incarnation – let’s hope that the new position is less prone to being muggled. This cache is on the other side of the tracks, but please use extreme stealth as this can be a very busy area with passengers on foot and in cars – but hopefully they will be too pre-occupied to worry about a treasure hunt!
Harpenden Station is located on the Bedpan Line which aptly describes the quality of service offered by Govia Thameslink to commuters travelling between Bedford and St Pancras International. Thameslink trains continue south of the river to Wimbledon, Sutton, Gatwick Airport and Brighton. East Midlands Trains offer connections from Luton to the north – Kettering, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
