Beautiful hike. not hard for children; dogs welcome.
This 'walk in the park' is beautiful. Accessible from many parking lots and starting points. If you're looking for the closest lot, park:
N 39, 0.515'
W 77, 3.774'
Easy walk, follow the path. Cache is a standard ammo box.
We hid this cache during the 2010 Feb 'Snowmageddon'. Rough to get there with 30" of snow on the ground - however, this should be a pretty easy hike as soon as most of the snow is gone.
Recent feedback encouraged me to up the difficulty and terrain ratings so I have done that.
