Painted Woods 2 Traditional Cache
CrazyFrogLady: We could probably re-locate this cache for the time being....but the building is happening fairly quickly so we'd have to move it again and again....until the entire area is swallowed by development and there is nowhere else to move it. We don't want to go through that unnecessary work and heartache, so we are just archiving it now. R.I.P. Painted Woods 2....and soon to the whole woods unfortunately. :-(

Go for a peaceful walk through the painted woods of Coeur d'Alene, Id. Easy walking on old logging roads. This beautiful area is well used by muggles walking their dogs, four-wheeling, riding bikes, playing paintball wars, etc....so please be very stealthy and re-hide the cache well!!
We found this wooded area behind the City of Coeur d'Alene Soccer Complex while we were in the area for other caches and thought it would be a perfect urban forest for an ammo can full of geocaching goodies! Unfortunately, my ammo can was muggled, then the area was destroyed, so now there isn't any place to hide a regular size cache....so, sadly, it is now a micro.
