This cache is hidden for the Cache-O-Max2 event May 1, 2010 and
should not be found before 6:00am on that day. Anyone logging this
cache before that time will be publicly shamed.
There is nothing at the posted co-ordinates, but this is a good spot to make your decision from (if you are on foot). You have 2 options, you can either go to N 45° 18.400 W 075° 54.725, or N 45° 18.261 W 75° 54.683. At one location you will find a redirect to the cache. It is a black Dymo tape with white numbers, fixed to a tree trunk at eye level with white thumbtacks. These numbers are a little off, so subtract .001 from the Northing and .002 from the Westing. This redirect is very easy to spot if you are on the same side of the tree. At the other location you will find the cache, a camo matchstick holder attached inline (i.e. not hanging) to a branch about 6 feet off the ground if is not weighed down with snow. Oh what to do, what to do. Look at it this way - if you find the cache first you will miss out on the other nice little hike. Enjoy. Note: at both locations there is evidence of occasional human residence. For this reason I would not advise going at night and taking the chance of waking a sleeping beauty.
