Geocache Description:

Another in the series of Borrego steel artworks by Ricardo Breceda.

This one is of a Gompotherium, sort of a prehistoric elephant like creature. There's also some camels very close by.
These sculptures, commissioned by Dennis Avery, are placed all over the desert floor of Borrego Springs and range from eagles to mastodons, to dinosaurs. Maps are available at the linked web site and well worth the day it will take to see all of them. I'm going to try and put a micro at many of them, so have fun finding them.

This particular micro is a small black aluminum pill bottle epoxied to a rare earth magnet.
