Den store stol tilhører firmaet Hertels papirlager og står på firmaets græsplæne ud til Ringstedgade.
Stolen blev bygget af medarbejdere og venner af huset, da firmaet i 1991 flyttede ind i sit nye domicil på Kuhlausvej. Stolen skal signalere firmaets grønne profil (ved at stolen med tiden bliver helt overgroet), samt at firmaet ikke kun handler med papirvarer, men også har et bredt udvalg af kontormøbler.
Stolen benyttes i øvrigt ikke aktivt i markedsføringen af firmaet, men som et lille kouriosum kan det fortælles, at der i forbindelse med firmaets 60 års jubilæum blev fremstillet en tro kopi af stolen i kransekage.

BEMÆRK Stolen er privat ejendom og står på privat grund, så selv om ejeren har givet tilladelse til at gå ind på græsplænen, hvor stolen står, anmodes du/I om at være hensynsfulde, og passe på ikke at beskadige hverken stol eller græsplæne.

"Den store stol" (The big chair) belongs to the company Hertel papirlager and are placed at the companys lawn off to Ringstedgade.
The chair was built by staff and friends of the house as the company in 1991 moved into its new headquarters at Kuhlausvej. The chair is supposed to signal the company's green profile (by the chair eventually become completely overgrown) and that the company not only deal in paper products, but also has a wide selection of office furniture.
The chair is otherwise not active in the marketing of the company, but as a little kouriosum can be mentioned that a faithful copy of the chair (in marzipan cake) was made for the company's 60th anniversary.

NOTE The chair is private property and is on private land, so even if the owner has given permission to enter the lawn where the chair is, you are requested to be considerate, and careful not to damage either chair or lawn.
