Die Rundwanderung umkreist zwischen Pinienwaelder auf schwarzen vulkanischen Lapillituffboeden den Chinyero und zeigt historisch junge Lavazungen. Er liegt innerhalb des Sonder-Naturschutzgebietes von El Chinyero und bietet herrliche Panoramablicke auf die nahen Teide und Pico Viejo.
Im November 1909 versetzte der Chinyero die Bewohner von Santiago del Teide und der umliegenden Gemeinden in Angst und Schrecken.
Die Ausbrueche begannen in einem alten Vulkankegel; spaeter trat die Lava an 9 verschiedenen Stellen aus, die in Folge zu vier grossen Lavastroemen verschmolzen.
Neben dem fluessigen Gestein warf der Feuer speiende Berg Unmengen an feinen Gesteinsbrocken und Asche aus.
Die einfache Wanderung erschliesst ein einmaliges Eruptionsgebiet.
Dein Auto kannst du auf der TF38 bei ca. km 15 und den Koordinaten N28° 17.064 W 016°45.735 parkieren.
Gehe dann den breiten Weg hinunter vorbei an der Schranke bis zu den Koordinaten
N 28° 17.149 W 016°45.528 hier biege rechts in den Rundweg ein. Rechts von dir ist der Berg Boca Cangrejo,

The above coordinates will give you the position of the Question point 1.
The circular tramping track Chinyero is surrounded by pine forests on black volcanic Lapillituffground and shows the historical young lava flow. It lies within the special nature reserve of El Chinyero and offers beautiful panoramic views of the Mount Teide and Pico Viejo.
In November 1909 the Chinyero shifted the inhabitants of Santiago del Teide and the surrounding villages in fear and fright.
The outbreaks began in an old volcanic cone, later the lava came out to 9 different locations, which merged in a row on 4 large lava flows.
Besides the liquid rock the fire-breathing mountain threw out vast quantities of fine pieces of rock and ash.
The easy hike opens up a unique eruption area.
Your can park your car on the TF38 at approx. km 15 and the coordinates N28°17,064 W 016°45,735.
Then go down the broad footpath, pass by the barrier and go up to the coordinates
N 28°17,149 W 016°45,528 here turn right into the trail. Right of you is the mountain Boca Cangrejo.
