This is on a trail at the Auburn Confluence near the Western States Trail and the Wendel T. Robie Trail.
We had originally placed this cache last year with our scout troop, but decided to move it closer to home and away from any poison oak. We love to take a small hike in the mornings with our children on this trail, this spot is just along the way... There isn't much coverage here so watch for muggles. We thought this spot would be a much better location for a variety of people.
Cache is in an ammo can and contains lots of essentials for hikers:
Log and pencil (The old log is still in there, but only a few people signed it, so we decided to just start on a new page.)
Whistle
Sunblock/insect repellent
First aide bandage
Lip balm
Hand warmers
2 carabiners
CITO bags
